Chelsea College of Arts is one of London's most prestigious art and design colleges. We offer courses in curating, fine art, graphic design communication, textile design and interior and spatial design. Chelsea has just over 1,400 students. The college's small size and supportive atmosphere make studying here feel more like being part of a community. You will learn the practical, theoretical and professional elements of your subject from our expert staff. It is a place where experimentation, ideas and concepts are encouraged to develop. The college's Grade ll listed Pimlico site, located in central London, overlooks Tate Britain and the River Thames. It has well-equipped workshops, extensive library facilities, a canteen and an onsite gallery, Chelsea Space.
The Camberwell, Chelsea and Wimbledon Graduate School incorporates research across the three colleges. This includes the Ligatus and Transnational Art, Identity and Nation (TrAIN) research centres, and the Textile Environment Design (TED) research group. The Graduate School enables staff and students to develop their research careers and create research with cultural and social value. The colleges share common research interests in critical fine art practice, drawing, art history and theory. Through our research degrees and taught postgraduate courses, each college maintains its’ unique research identity.
Chelsea College of Arts has a range of courses that cover curating, fine art, graphic design, interior design and textile design. Our students have inspired organisations world-wide with their ideas, solutions and professionalism. You can work with Chelsea students in the following ways:

Thank you once again for doing your part to keep Edarabia the most trusted education source.
Really enjoyed my course. We had two tutors from different disciplines which gave more than one perspective to the work we were doing and there was a very good workshop space to try out different techniques..

I loved my time on MA Curating & Collections at Chelsea College of Arts. The staff were great and I loved the course. The facilities are really good too, especially the library! Would definitely recommend.

Great place, staff and tutors are helpful and insightful. Wonderful atmosphere and the building is just beautiful! I still try come down and see the current students work as much as I can throughout the year - and it's always so exciting and individual. I especially love textiles work - the facilities they have for these students are great and the work they produce is so highly skilled. I definitely recommend coming to check out the shows.

I graduated in 2010 and I have to say I love this place for many reasons. I had so much help and intellectual stimulation. Great teachers, staff and just a great feel about the place. So glad I went to Uni there.

ChelseaUAL is not just a great college. ChelseaUAL has a matrix that left the academic bubble behind, acts as a serious Millbank neighbourhood stakeholder. In #TheHeartOfLondon, it created and nourishes a conduit for a sustainable society utilising creativity at every level as a key tool to explore issues and solutions beyond conventions. It provides young people and local residents with a unique opportunity to explore dreams, ideas and pursue visions that do make a difference.

One of the worst student supports at University.
NO grant money for international students.
Specially for BA 3rd year financing support is extremely poor.
How much tuition fee international students pay EACH year? over £13,000 !
But not even £100 is not granted for the final year international students who are having their degree shows for the university.
This University is not worthy to invest such amount of money for international students.
Their system is not fully prepared, they invest money to pay their debts and salary for the president, not for students.

This is a good college for arts. The graduates show every year is an amazing experience. The artist residency is also good. A good environment. The evening it has a colourful ground. it's decorated with lights. It's an awesome place to be. The artist residency infront of Tate Britain inspires you alot more to do something artistic

The textiles BA course is a great recourse of information and skills. Like any Art course, the more effort you put into it the more you will get out of it. The Tutors have a broad skill base and are enthusiastic about your project work.

So, my rating can feel a bit biased considering I graduated from here, but honestly if I didn't feel it deserved it I would not rate it as high.
I initially begun my career in the Fine Art department, Art is something I cherish and is part of my life so at on point I decided I did not want to make this my source of living (if I could, there are more artists than doctors in London). So I made a change to Textile Design. A career that allowed me to still work with my hands and learn, at the same time, valuable machinery, computing and ceramic skills. I felt the course was very complete, and teaching was enough to guide you but not too much as to feel dictated by your tutors view. It was during my final year I fell pregnant and still decided to finish my degree. I could not have done this without the support of my husband, family, friends and tutors at uni, especially my stitch tutor Isabel Dodd. I don't want to make a thank you speech but this is the kind of help you receive here. It is an atmosphere of creativity with an amazing resource library and a great view of the river that can inspire even the dimmest of minds.

The education my daughter has received in London has been nothing short of transformative, thanks to dedicated staff who genuinely care about each student’s growth and success.
