At CAFRE we have a vision for success and we invite you to be part of this. If you are looking for a career in the agri-food industry, or if you are already working in the industry, we can help you to gain the right knowledge and skills for your future. CAFRE has excellent facilities which will help you learn by putting theory into practice. These facilities are found at our three campuses in Enniskillen, Antrim (Greenmount) and Cookstown (Loughry) where we offer a range of courses in agriculture, food, horticulture, equine and agri-food business. CAFRE also has an international programme which will let you share information globally and enhance your learning experience, bringing new ideas to our local industry.
Students of all ages study at CAFRE because they’re interested in getting a good job at the end of their course. Our results speak for themselves – on average over 98% of our students are in employment, on a gap year or progress onto further education within six months of completing their course. If you’re a hands-on type of person who doesn’t want to be stuck behind a desk ALL day, then CAFRE courses, and the careers they lead to, are perfect for you. Relevant practical experience in modern specialist facilities is a part of all courses. CAFRE has excellent links with businesses and organisations, many of which employ our graduates. They show their support by providing work placements, guest lecturers and real-life course projects. They also donate over 30 bursaries to help fund the cost of getting a degree. You’ll go far to find better facilities at which to study agriculture, horticulture, food or equine studies. With continuous investment, we keep our facilities up-to-date to benefit not just our full-time students but also people from industry who continue their professional development through our short courses.
With competitive fees and accommodation costs, you’ll find that studying at CAFRE is not as expensive as you thought. Thank you once again for doing your part to keep Edarabia the most trusted education source.
Attended the college from 2007-2010, completing NVQ2 and NVQ3 in amenity horticulture, Johnston shaw leading our course which I found to be a positive point as he was a student previously. Grounds and college are to a high standard in appearance also.

After completing the p/t level 2 floristry diploma as a mature student, i returned to Cafre to study the level 3 diploma. The floristry lecturers have such a wealth of experience, with guidance & teaching beyond expectation. I didn't have to think twice about returning for a further 2 years studies. The first class Horticulture & Floristry facilities in these beautiful surroundings make further education a pleasure. Staff at cafre are very understanding and interact with students very well very easy going place to be witch leaves it easy for students to learn as pressure is not put on the students and sets them up well ready for when they leave as they can make good decisions because cafre gives them the chance to make the wrong ones and lets them learn from them
