As well as the wonderful gallery and unsurpassable university, at the Courtauld you can also find incredible volunteering opportunities: cataloguing, accessioning and photographing their archives of architectural photo prints and negatives. The volunteering scheme is open to everybody, the staff is really friendly, and there is no minimum commitment required. The benefits are also great. 5 stars!

Such an honour to do my BA here (1995). Walking through the arches of Somerset House each day as a student, getting to know the incredible collection and receiving the best training in the world for Art History from formidable lecturers...the Courtauld is a rare and amazing place.

Before the Summer University, I didn't think about doing Art History. But the teachers, the staff, the gallery itself... It was all so incredible. Can't fault it!
