So if you're looking for the widest possible choice of opportunities - check us out!

We offer hundreds of different courses and pride ourselves on providing a lively fun and caring environment. You'll be valued as a person, encouraged to value others and to respond positively to high quality teaching.

The quality of our staff and resources make the college an exciting and enjoyable place in which to learn. If you choose to learn with us, you can be assured that we are committed to providing you with qualifications and skills to meet the demands of an ever-changing world and we want to enable you to move on to the world of employment or Higher Education with the confidence and self-assurance to succeed.

Dudley College of Technology has played a pivotal role in the provision of vocational and technical education in Dudley borough and the wider Black Country for over 150 years.

The last five years have been particularly remarkable for the college. In 2012 we successfully completed and opened the first two phases of the Dudley Learning Quarter, catalysing the regeneration of Dudley town centre and in April 2015 we opened Dudley Advance I our specialist centre for Advanced Manufacturing and Engineering Technology.

We have come a long way and our success has been noted with Ofsted recognising Dudley College as one of the highest performing general further education colleges in the country.

However we know we still have much to do to meet the needs of our key client groups: to enhance services for employers, to support more young people and adults in to work, to up-skill those in work and to provide the essential skills training for the most disadvantaged in society.

Our vision for the future is this. By 2019 we will be recognised regionally, nationally and internationally simply as ‘a great college’. We will consistently make a real difference to the lives of our learners, raising their aspirations and promoting their prosperity. As a driving force in the regional economy we will improve business productivity, adding gross value. Our stakeholders will be delighted with our innovative curriculum, our focus on technical, professional and higher skills and our inspirational facilities. For young people, adults, employers and wider partners Dudley College of Technology will be the ‘college of choice’.

Dudley Insights are short informative and accessible papers which explain how the college is meeting the key challenges that face us here in the Black Country and in the sector as a whole. Dudley Insight has been designed for our key stakeholders including parents, employers, the Local Enterprise Partnership and of course prospective students.

It is intended to produce a series of publications annually that keep you abreast of the work we are doing to respond to the national and regional skills challenges and address the major government policy initiatives.

The Corporation provides strategic leadership to the College and sets the mission and the framework of policies within which the College operates. While day to day management is the responsibility of the Chief Executive and the senior leadership team, the Corporation has the key role of monitoring, challenging and supporting them.

The Corporation has eleven external Governors who are unpaid volunteers and are drawn from business, professional, public sector and community backgrounds. They bring a range of skills and experience to the Boardroom. The Corporation also includes the Chief Executive, two staff Governors and two student Governors.

The Corporation meets eight times a year (including development events). It also has a number of committees whose membership consists mainly of Governors but also includes co-opted members. These committees carry out detailed work and make recommendations to the Corporation in the key areas of standards, audit and employer engagement.

Catering for over 12,500 learners of various types each year drawn from all parts of the community, Dudley College plays an important part in the life of the community. With an annual turnover of over £42 million, it is also one of the area's largest employers and is an important part of the local economy.

The Corporation is comprised of people from all walks of life, who give freely of their time to undertake an important role in overseeing the work of the College. They bring to the Boardroom their skills, experience and knowledge of the community. In return, they find that being a Governor is a rewarding role, which brings them into contact with others who have an interest in the many different aspects of education and training.

What can I say about Dudley college. Well I began my access to social science 10 months ago. So I could gain access to a social work degree. Not knowing what to expect I enrolled here at Dudley college. Who were straight to the point saying it's no walk in the park and will be hard work. They were right. But the support you get is amazing. The tutors (Harriet and classy sassy bev) are amazing they make learning fun, and can't believe how far I progressed on this course. I ended my 10 months on 18 distinctions and 24 merits and 3 passes which I'm amazed at. And now going onto Birmingham city university in Sept. It worked for me and can work for you trust me. If your just thinking about going to college, my words to you is GO FOR IT. Dudley college did me proud thanks to u all ?

Done a IT Course here not great pc's considering it is 2GB of RAM, The Broadway facilities need revamping but they have spend a lot of money on new buildings nearly every year where they could of used the money on revamping Broadway and better pc's for IT Students doing Flash with the mighty Azhar.

Me and my wife did a course here about 15 years ago called Clait1. Learning Microsoft Word, Excell and Data Base. A useful new skills that has helped us with many projects and letters over the years. Definitely recommend 10/10.

I have really enjoyed my time so far doing an He course. The staff have been tremendous with helping not just me but all my classmates when we have something to talk about and even pushing us to achieve our best. I really do recommend this college if you want to achieve greatly.

It is more cooperate style overall, staff are really good however management is quite poor in dealing with request even after their recent outstanding. I am guessing it is due to the staff doing more work rather than management benefiting from it. Shame about class sizes becoming much bigger than in normal FE but again can see that it is poor management techniques. Support staff are like marmite, either excellent or really poor but the lecturers do make up for it. Do not understand the separation of the different campuses as same modules/subjects are being taught by different staff, looks like inefficient structure. Overall very good college, but still needs improvements.

Some teachers are ok some are bad where they think the rules don't apply to them. Some don't do the register correctly either and i have been told i missed a lesson but i knew i attended lol. If you have problems at college no one sorts them out

WORST ever! I did NVQ level 2 with them in May 2015 and still don't have my certificate. I have called so many times I cannot even count - they either don't answer or do not return to my messages. I guess they are just hiding. Now have to pay again for new NVQ course. Find another place and don't waste time and money with them.

I think the College is very overrated, Not very good facilities in Broadway, Food is overpriced and not organised on Exam results and recieving letters in short notice to come into College to take a exam or do some daft booklet in a classroom. Some poor members of staff and students that get away with their behaviour. Not Outstanding in my opinion.
