In January 2002, Hammersmith and West London College merged with Ealing Tertiary College to form Ealing, Hammersmith and West London College. However, each of our Colleges have their own histories which have helped define us as an institution – wherever we can, we have added links so that you can read more about them.
At Hammersmith and Fulham College, we can trace our roots back as far as 1881 when Hammersmith School of Art and Building was founded in Brook Green (there was also another building located in Lime Grove, in Shepherd’s Bush). As well as textile design, ceramics and print making, students could choose to study plumbing, welding, plastering and brick-laying.
Chelsea College of Art and Design absorbed some of the College’s Arts provision in 1928, when it took on West London College (then sited in Holland Park). At that point, the name of the College became the more recognisable Hammersmith and West London College in 1975.
The college corporation is responsible for the overall functioning of the College. The Corporation oversees the college’s strategic direction, financial performance and quality of service provided to learners and the community.
The Corporation Board is made up of highly experienced individuals, who have extensive experience in management across industry, business, law, finance and the community, as well as students and staff.
The corporation meets to discuss to the college’s strategy and its progress on key performance matters. The corporation also has several governor committees which look at the college’s performance on finance and quality matters in more detail.
Governors also play an active role in college life through support and advice, as well as attending events and promoting the good work the college does in the community. All governors are unpaid volunteers who come from a range of backgrounds and are elected for a term at a time.
Your child’s safety is of paramount importance at our College. Every student and staff member requires a personalised entry card to gain access to the site. The cards enable the College to monitor attendance via electronic registers so security and teaching staff know who is or isn’t on site.
Parents can check progress reports online through the Student Portal. Students simply log on to the secure College intranet (using their password details) and can access their coursework, exam grades, attendance figures and tutor comments.
Studying at Ealing, Hammersmith & West London College opens up many opportunities for career progression. On completion of their studies, students can progress onto a higher level course within the College, go on to study at university or secure employment in their chosen industry. We provide the support that students need to succeed.
There is much more to studying at Ealing Campus than just the courses. Unlike some other colleges, we like to offer students something extra when they study with us. We have an extensive range of academic and recreational facilities to give you the opportunity to make the most of your studies as well as your time off.

Thank you once again for doing your part to keep Edarabia the most trusted education source.
I am a student there now. I appreciate the free english classes and i am thinking to subscribe to others lessons, too. The interior and entrance are nice and modern.

Awful customer service throughout. Everyone was rude, unprofessional and giving misinformation from the LIS team to the receptionist to the enrolment team. I withdrew my enrolment after this awful experience - as an adult learner there was no way I was going to invest my time, money and future in this establishment. As a recruiter, if I see this college on CVs I will not get a good impression.

, AVOID IT AS MUCH AS YOU CAN!!!!! My daughter got kicked out after they accepted her saying her grades weren't equivalent to GCSEs, and this was in the middle of the year so they crashed her future and still haven't returned her money. I would have gone further with them but I don't want to waste my time with a worthless college, and with the money, they can eat it because it looks like they need it!!!

One of the best college in town in comparison with the amount of tuition fee against teaching standards including highly qualified teachers, compulsory plagiarism checked for dissertation, randomly plagiarism checked for projects as well and collection of electronic resources as well as physical library collections are few to highlight.
Yes they had admin and operational issues which they will overcome over the period of time I believe however they never compromised with the delivery of the high standard educations - that's what matters most.
I am proud to complete my MBA from this institution.
