East Riding College welcomes more than 1,600 full-time students every year, with thousands more taking apprenticeships, part-time and higher education courses. Our main campuses are in the beautiful historic market town of Beverley and the popular coastal resort of Bridlington in the East Riding of Yorkshire, with a smaller site in Hull.

We are an ambitious College, with a strong desire to improve the high standard of teaching we provide and the campuses our students attend. Having opened a new campus in Bridlington in 2009, and more recently in Beverley in 2015, we are one of the best equipped colleges nationally.

We were last inspected in February 2016 and received a glowing report, which described the College as "good" overall and outstanding for personal development, behaviour and welfare, and adult learning programmes. We were rated as "good" for the quality of teaching, learning and assessment, outcomes for learners, 16 to 19 study programmes and apprenticeships.

The hairdressing and beauty therapy salons are well equipped and maintained to high standards, and our reception areas are welcoming and comfortable. Your hair or beauty treatment will be carried out by a student, supervised by a member of staff. The prices are listed according to the level at which the learner is studying and the higher the level, the more accomplished the student will be.

Elwell's Restaurant at our Flemingate campus features a full licensed dining room with views of the Beverley Minster, which is served from a professional kitchen. Catering students hone their skills by cooking up gorgeous food while their colleagues on Food and Drink Service courses serve it to the customers. The students prepare and serve meals during college term times. It is open for lunch Thursdays and Fridays at 12pm and Thursday evenings at 7pm. Reservations are recommended.
