The University's academic structure is made up of six schools. Each course is aligned to one of these schools, and if you're a prospective London Metropolitan University student you can find out which school your course is managed under by checking the relevant course page.
Students studying in any of our schools have access to all our communal facilities (such as libraries, social spaces, cafés and eateries), and each school also has areas of expertise which might mean you use specialist resources as part of your course. Our schools have links to relevant businesses in sectors related to their specialist subject areas, and the schools are also hotbeds of research undertaken by University academics and PhD students.
Welcome to our accommodation information site. Coming to the University and living in a major city like London is an exciting prospect and it's important to find somewhere safe, affordable and comfortable to live. We aim to give you a comprehensive guide to student housing in London, including:
For specific questions, refer to our contact page for telephone, email and address details. If you'd prefer to talk to someone in person, we have a drop-in service Monday to Friday at both the Aldgate and Holloway Hubs, 9.30am until 12.30pm (last drop-in entry at 12.10), and on Tuesday and Wednesday at the Moorgate Hub.
Drop-ins are a first-come first seen service, with each drop-in lasting a maximum of 20 minutes. As advisers can only see a certain number of students during each drop-in session, it is advisable to arrive as early as possible. If you arrive late or the maximum number of students has been seen, you will be referred to the next drop-in session.

Our two libraries support students and staff in the University's six academic schools. Our opening hours are easily accessible and you'll be able to pay us a visit during these times to access our range of resources. Our e-resources are also available 24/7, on and off campus.
Study spaces within the libraries are divided into zones for group and silent study. Students can borrow a laptop for up to four hours for use on or off site.
Aldgate Library also provides a photography and drawing room as well as a superb materials and products collection for designers. Our professional academic liaison librarians will be available to guide and advise you when you're looking for study and research materials for your work. Hello my name is Devante Caprice and I have just finished my foundation year cannot wait to start my second year.
Love the atmosphere because the staff are very helpful also very high expectations and standards to succeed very nice building. My colleagues have been useful so many things to enjoy like the Emirates Stadium (Arsenal supporters) so many opportunities I can take whilst studying. And I can't wait to start my second year studying Computer Science.
P.S. I would recommend London Metropolitan University

The most disgusting experience in my life!
Definitely I don’t recommend this university to anyone.
They are interested into the fees and nothing else!
Most of the tutors I have met were very basic and old fashioned understanding...

Did my masters degree in marketing here in 2010. Tutor time for my entire dissertation was less than one hour! Worst education money can buy. You’re on your own, lecturers couldn’t care less. One tutor stood out and was amazing, he left the university now.

I am currently studying for a BSc in Health and social care at LondonMet, I have to say I really love the vibe of this University. It has been a very positive experience so far, the Lecturers are the best I have ever come across their true academics, with an incredible amount of knowledge and experience in the field of their subjects. Great environment and great students who are all so friendly and welcoming, I have no regrets about coming to this University, I have progressed greatly and I already know so much more about my course, I have more confidence in my abilities as a result. Well done London Met for being a truly modern supportive and vibrant University, enroll you will not regret it.

I am currently studying at London Met for my BSc in Health and social care, I have to say overall I am highly impressed with the Tutor's and how qualified and professional they all are. I have been impressed by the whole running of the University and I have had a very smooth start which I am grateful for. It is however a massive building and I am still getting lost, but slowly over time I am improving each day and navigating my way round nicely. I love the diversity and the friendliness of the students and staff alike. I am highly enjoying my time there and I find weblearn fantastic as this is where you go to check out your announcements and assessments, support and great communication makes this a five star University.
