At Newcastle College, the passion of the staff shines through every lesson, nurturing not just knowledge but also confidence in every student, and I've witnessed my child's remarkable growth firsthand.

ive found the environment to be really stressful and overwhelming for me as a whole and i’ve found the time in my course to be really stressful when i was stressed or didn’t understand what i was doing i didn’t feel the learning support and the teachers made me feel better they made me feel more stressed and it’s mental health department is horrible they don’t refer you to their services you have to refer yourself and you have to book time in a busy packet schedule to go to your council session. Like some of the students have actually said to me this is my fault for hardly doing any work and complaining about it ( stuck up entitled brat) but this is how I feel ??? Sabah Khalid doesn't recommend Newcastle College.

Don't come here, in 1 year being here, I have learned nothing from the teachers. We have only been told lie after lie after lie. You learn nothing, they tell you only lies, and the teachers don't do their jobs. Just... Don't come here. This College is just a joke that has gone too far.....

The cousre i did looked really good going into it, but after a year of poor staff, lack of teaching, and it ending with a year of work to do in about a week, i cant stress how much of a mistake this course was. Ive been told that if i dont finish it all (without any idea of what im actually supposed to do), im going to be failed. Its funny, the college has already failed me consistently for a whole year, this is just another kick in the teeth. I would rate lower, but there are some people there that really do care about the students, and i dont want to put everyone in the same bag. I did level 3 IT (group D year 1)

This place is BRILLIANT! I'm a full time first year student studying Level 3 Graphics and I LOVE IT! The lecturers know what they're talking about and they want us to do well. I'm so glad I chose to study at such an AMAZING college

Comparing to other colleges in Newcastle, this one has to be the worst out of all of them. The only good thing about it are the facilities. The college is making 2 staff redundant due to cut backs and it affects every student in the building as lessons aren't covered by teachers. I studied there for 2 years and I was treated absolutely disgustingly. Teachers didn't help with coursework. They swear, don't care and treat you like you are below them. Most importantly once you finish your course, they push you aside like they didn't know you for the past couple years. YOU GET NO HELP to peruse your ambition to work in your area. NO CONTACTS. NO REFERENCES. NO SUPPORT. I'm currently studying in GATESHEAD COLLEGE doing my HND MUSIC DEGREE. I couldn't be happier with their willingness to help and motivation. I already gained contact in the industry as they give them out to help find work experience. They have great contacts and also amazing facilities as their buildings are newly build. The staff here makes you want to come in and learn, not avoid it. - They become your friend! Think twice before applying, make sure you know the college you picked isn't going to treat you bad and you get something out of it!

I think it's a wonderful college, and the staff are so supportive. I am so grateful to Sally, the head of English for all her help and getting me through not just this course.

First time attending here was for my degree (Beauty Therapy and Spa Management FDA (Level 4 & 5), finishing May 2017). I LOVE THIS COURSE, it's so hard, but it's totally worth it!!! The lecturers have been very supportive, understanding and helpful (can't thank them enough). As a professional and a student, I'd recommend this college; it's a good college, and my knowledge about the beauty industry has expanded so much more since finishing my Level 3 Diploma in Beauty Therapy, and I couldn't have done it without my lecturers' support, guidance and encouragement.
