Situated on one of the most beautiful campuses in the UK, the university provides facilities that will have a real influence on your capacity to learn. Our teaching staff have an outstanding reputation for quality and academic research and our track record in graduate employment is amongst the best in the UK. Our range of degree courses include online degrees as well as traditional taught courses in subjects as diverse as art and design, management and engineering. Resonating through our culture is the desire to foster collaborative relationships with local, regional and global communities to develop socially responsible citizens and promote ethical behaviour.

Robert Gordon University has a heritage going back 250 years, and it was granted university status in 1992. Since then the university has gone from strength to strength, proactively engaging with businesses in the development of many of its degree courses and meeting regional and national needs at a time of constant change and development. As a result we have a reputation for producing graduates that are highly sought after by employers. Today Robert Gordon University delivers more than 300 courses to over 16,000 full and part-time students from 130 countries. Over the last decade we have consistently had one of the best records of any UK university for graduate-level employment and we were quoted as the top UK university for graduate employment by the Higher Education Statistics Agency in August 2015.

While such accolades are pleasing there is never scope for resting on our laurels. A £135 million construction project at our Garthdee campus was completed in 2015 and provides our students and staff with state-of-the-art teaching and learning facilities. This includes a new library, and formal and informal learning and social spaces for students. This development gives the university and our local community some of the best facilities in the UK. Indeed, the Times Higher Education Student Experience Survey, published in 2016, quoted RGU as being third equal in the UK with Oxford University for the quality of our facilities.

Ferdinand von ProndzynskiThe university has invested significantly in research activities, dramatically increasing both the number and quality of our researchers and there is world leading work being undertaken in the university's key research areas.

I'm studying pharmacy at RGU. The university is modern and functional with easy transport to and from city centre. Lectures' are always helpful and student voice is heard clearly. The school listens closely to student feedback and changes occur smfrom semester to semester in efforts to improve student experience. Clubs and societies are plentiful and sports facilities are good. Dedicated student help centre assist students with any enquiries they may have, and careers advice centre is great for planning your future step after graduation. Food is okay, expected canteen standard. From a pharmacy perspective, material is up to date and relevant with stimulating courseworks and helpful tutorials throughout the semester. Exam support of there and student well-being centre operates around the year. Great place to study :)

My time as a student at the Robert Gordon University had been an amazing experience. The University is modern and a great place to study. The campus had a lively feel to it which makes studying there an altogether unique experience. The faculty is indeed great and I loved every bit of my time spent there. The Library too left an indelible impression on my mind. Given a chance, I would still love to be a part of the Institution.
