Southampton University for a foreign exchange student can be a bit of a culture shock when first starting out but most of the students welcome you with open arms and the rest seems to have gone by like a blur. Having finished my degree in Civil Engineering there, I can say that the quality of learning was top!

I studied, full time, at Southampton University between 1993 and 1998. The tutors were excellent. My memories of it are very happy. It benefitted from a very pretty campus, and an extremely good library. It was also easily accessible by public transport.
