The Belfast campus is situated in the artistic and cultural centre of the city, the Cathedral Quarter. Although traditionally associated with art, the campus spans an increasing and exciting range of subjects including architecture, hospitality, event management, photography and digital animation.

Our vibrant campus plays host to frequent fashion shows and art exhibitions and is an exciting place to study and work. It is also home to The Academy training restaurant.

Our new Belfast campus – one of the largest higher education capital builds in Europe – is transforming higher education in the city, creating a dynamic teaching and learning environment. When complete, it will include an assortment of modern, state-of-the-art facilities for the wide range of different learning, teaching, innovation and research activities that our staff and students undertake.

Alongside programmes like art, architecture and business, academic provision will be greatly expanded and this campus will, over the next few years, become home to a wide range of new courses which are currently delivered in Jordanstown, including disciplines as varied as law, computing, engineering and social science among many others.

We are one University with four distinct campuses across Northern Ireland - Belfast, Coleraine, Jordanstown and Magee. Courses are also delivered at our branch campuses in London and Birmingham. With approximately 27,000 students across four campuses, Ulster University is uniquely placed to engage local communities, support expansion of the knowledge based economy and contribute to the economic, social and cultural development of Northern Ireland.

While each campus differs in size and has its own distinctive atmosphere, wherever you study or work with us, you will still experience Ulster’s unique character. Over 93% of our graduates are in work or further study six months after graduation. We are a top UK university for providing courses with a period of work placement; 2,000 students undertake work placement every year.

We are a global university with more than 1,000 international students from over 99 countries and 190,000 alumni worldwide. More than 4,000 students from over 50 countries have successfully completed eLearning courses at Ulster University. We are a leading modern University ranked in the top 150 global institutions - The Times Higher Education 150 Under 50.

Ulster University is one of the top-five UK universities for widening participation to higher education and is first in Northern Ireland. Ulster is a leading university for sport in Ireland and the UK. We offer a wide variety of individual and team sports for fun or at a more competitive level. We provide a friendly and supportive learning environment to help you feel at home and make an easy transition to university life.

We invest significantly in our facilities to provide the best learning experience. Our £250 million Belfast campus redevelopment represents a new chapter for Ulster, providing a state-of-the-art teaching and learning facility in the heart of the city.

We encourage everyone to be active and involved, whether you just want to keep fit or you are competing at the highest level. You don't have to be a professional athlete to benefit from our world-class facilities. Our Sports Union coordinates over 65 sports clubs across the campuses. You are sure to find something exciting, from archery to volleyball and lots more.

If you are an athlete considering applying to any of our undergraduate courses then you may be eligible for formal recognition of your achievements. The Talented Athlete Entry Scheme supports aspiring athletes by reducing the entry points required for full-time undergraduate courses at Ulster.

The Belfast to L'Derry train line runs past the campus entrance making it easily accessible. When you live here you benefit from having the great outdoors right on your door step including the river Bann, beautiful beaches and the Giants Causeway plus lots of opportunities to socialise with some of Northern Irelands best bars, restaurants and clubs nearby.

An extensive range of support services is available to help you get ready for work and to find employment.

Our award winning Career Development Centre (CDC), located on each campus, offers friendly and impartial support with career planning and provides advice on developing your employability skills. We provide a Higher Education Achievement Report (HEAR) to all graduates - a detailed record of your academic and extra-curricular achievements to supplement the traditional degree award.

I was in this uni for a year as an erasmus student , the staff was amazingly competent and i met plenty of amazing people there , as well as in northern ireland in general. The banter was high , it was a good craic ;D

Fairly dull and very few facilities for those of us who have to wait on people who are doing exams (one overpriced coffee shop, an expensive Spar (with nice staff) and a nice student supplies shop) For students it's a bit better
