This is a rather duplicitous 'school', where the emphasis is on 'show' rather than education. The management have a bullying philosophy and student behaviour is diabolical. There is very little job satisfaction for teachers, who are constantly harangued and bullied by the inept and ineffective management, trying to justify their positions. Salaries are good, but MES Cairo work their teachers so hard, getting their 'pound of flesh' and forcing teachers to remain in school for hours after the school day. A poor establishment. Don't be fooled by the facade. Behind the facade it is rotten.

My kids are at MES. They love school and I am very happy with their learning. The teachers are good. They are all foreign and sometimes don't understand the culture and expectations but most are great and really care. The best ones stay a while and really get to know our kids. The comments above are a bit unkind. I don't think that teacher stayed long and he taught my nephew but didn't seem to like Egypt. The school offers great education beyond the academic stuff. My son went to Switzerland skiing this year for the first time. My daughter will go to Cyprus when she is Year 6 next year. We just had a great 24hr Run event to fundraise for a community charity project. That's what I want my kids to learn about and MES does a great job of that. It's hard to get your kids in, but worth it. I am biased but it's the best school in Egypt!
