Kennesaw State University offers over 70 fully online degree programs, certificate programs, hybrid online programs and more than 400 courses in online and mixed-model versions. Designed and taught by KSU faculty, online learning at Kennesaw State offers high quality degree options with online learning convenience and flexibility. Online courses and degrees at Kennesaw State University are fully accredited and held to the same learning standards, rigors, and expectations of quality that our on-campus courses and programs require.

Research at Kennesaw State University is varied and far-reaching. In laboratories on campus and in field sites in Georgia and abroad, KSU researchers make scientific discoveries; break ground on new innovations; produce scholarly work; and address pressing problems in transportation, health, education, and international relations.

KSU researchers have been funded by federal agencies – the National Science Foundation, National Institutes of Health, Department of Education, State Department, Army and Air Force, Nuclear Regulatory Commission, National Endowment for the Arts, National Endowment for the Humanities – as well as state agencies, private corporations, and non-profit foundations.

The University provides funding for faculty and staff to pursue their research, including pilot/seed funding from the Office of the Vice President for Research to spur the pursuit of external funding, and incentive grants from the Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning for small research/creative activity projects.

As an institution that puts a high priority on teaching at both the undergraduate and graduate levels, KSU encourages faculty to involve students in their research, creating an atmosphere of collaboration that is ideal for fostering a lifelong dedication to discovery and knowledge.

The College of Continuing and Professional Education offers more than 65 professional certificate programs along with more than 2,500 courses, with 350 courses available online. Top programs include culinary, web design, paralegal, TESOL, basic office technology, project management, technical writing, pharmacy technician, health coach, medical assisting, real estate property management, social media marketing, and information systems security.
