like every school/university there will be problems.. CSU is a great school with a nationally known physics department. Apart from the nonsense that goes on at the school.. our science department is well respected throughout illinois and throughout the school. Regardless of what people may think and all the bad press we get, your experiences is what you make it. I transferred from Texas to attend UIC, but found out that it was pretty pricey, so I applied to CSU, got accepted and now I'm about to graduate and attend dental school back in Texas. Just because you come from a low tier university does not mean you cant get into professional doctoral programs. I and countless others are witness to this.Come to CSU and make the best of it!!

Chicago State University is one of the best schools anyone could ever attend. It provides a WHOLE lot of opportunities for students to grow and succeed. I've been to other schools before CSU, and I happened to discover this overlooked terrific school. The professors are great, the students are great, the coursework is challenging--basically, this school is amazing. I speak with a lot of students about whether they like CSU or not, and they all tell me that they love it! You will not regret coming to this school!
