If you're looking for a great hometown vibe, Eastern Kentucky University is great. It's the perfect size campus and everyone is so friendly. It has a wonderful greek system and there is always something to do. It's not so big of a school that its overwhelming, but not so small that you always see the same faces everyday. Almost every teacher I've had has been impressive. I have been challenged but not to the extent that is unbearable. I love it at Eastern Kentucky University!

I was a 3rd year transfer student this year and honestly, coming from a small private school, the change was so good. I've met amazing people within the first week of classes. I also went to rush, which was an amazing way to meet people. Rush was not something I was expecting to do, as I've never considered myself the "Frat boy type" but it showed me that no matter what, you can always fit into a fraternity because each chapter is so different. You just have to get involved. And i love Eastern Kentucky University.

I really like going to Eastern Kentucky University. I currently attend a extension school though. I feel like unless you live in Richmond you are more often feeling left out of student activities. The staff are friendly and professional. If you call with a concern or question is is taken care of immediately.
