Curry offers a variety of activities and events for students, many that have become traditions on campus. To begin the year, Welcome Week has become an annual celebration to welcome both new and returning students to campus. Events during the week have included a visit from an ice cream truck with free ice cream, a BINGO night, various novelty events like tie-dye shirts or spin-art frisbees, and entertainers such as mentalists or comedians. Similarly, Winter Week takes the cold out of winter to welcome students back in the spring semester. This series of events has included an open skate night at Ulin Rink, karaoke and other fun activities to help warm-up.
Other traditions throughout the year include Late Night Breakfast to mark the end of classes each semester. If you enjoy friendly competition, come compete or watch the annual Powder Puff flag football game featuring competition between females in each class or see Curry students take on each other in competition for the Battle of the Classes. As the weather gets warm, students look forward to Spring Weekend each April. Spring Weekend is a three day event that features the annual Mr. Curry competition, various outdoor activities, an amazing dance party in Miller Field House and more! The Big Bang talent show also happens each April and features dancers, poets and music.
Looking for weekend activities? The Stu After Dark series in the Student Center showcases live music, comedy, game nights, and more every Friday night or come dance the night away on a Saturday night at a Glow Paint Party scheduled regularly each semester.

Ive gone to Curry College now for some time now, and the Curry College experience has been interesting. The things that others dont like is they feel that they are trapped on a dead campus, nothing is further from the truth. There are shuttles of Campus on a daily basis and if one misses the shuttle they can walk to the nearest station located behind campus. (Boston is accessible). The morale seems to be low-for the most part because people don't try. If one make an effort the Curry Experience can be good. Its true there are a good bit of students that are very arrogant and territorial especially in a major like communication. Curry also has an award winning radio station on campus that teaches the fundamentals of radio through hands on experience. Its a very good station that lacks people with the competitive drive to achieve. It is also in desperate need of a renovation. But for everything radio lacks in there is to be found in TV. The tv station on curry provides students with more hands on training. The school isn't that bad (its actually good) its just the attitude that some people have. If you want to get hands on experience from day one in the field of communication then this is the place.

As far as nursing programs go, I am very satisfied with the content of the school's curriculum, and also the clinical site opportunities. I think I am getting a quality education in Curry College. My perception of the school didn't change much after I started, which is a good thing. The school wants to be competitive and is making annual progress on becoming one of the top Boston area schools.

Curry College has excellent athletic/Student facilities, and belongs to the most competitive D-3 conference. Student body needs more ethnic diversity. Freshman dorms - Scholars Hall needs to be completely renovated.

Curry College is definitely a place for self exploration. I have found so much of myself here, that I am more confident in what I want to do and who I want to be in the future. There are so many opportunities here that there's no way one can fail (unless you close yourself off and only scratch the surface of what Curry has to offer). In the first three weeks that I was here as a transfer I had a job in admissions, a part in the Curry Theater production of Romeo and Juliet, became representative for Student Ambassadors and had very close relationships with the majority of my professors. My name was known by heart by the 2nd or 3rd class I has with each teacher, etc. I can be myself here and no one has an issue with it. The professors are here for your success, helping you in anyway they can.
