Thank you once again for doing your part to keep Edarabia the most trusted education source.
I took my daughter for a tour yesterday and was very pleased with the tour. Professor are great, coaches informative and She even got to sing with the choir. Dance team coach very nice and easy to talk too. It is on her list of college to apply for.

We had a great campus tour lead by Libby. I was very impressed with Alma College. The students appeared to be kind and friendly not only to us, but to each other. The faculty seems to care about their students. There are opportunities to travel overseas which the school encourages. The school has a quaint small town charm about it. The campus is small and not overwhelming. Classroom sizes are small which allows a student to be able to focus better and have access to his/her professor. I think anyone who graduates from this school would receive a excellent college education and overall college experience. I am thankful that we had the opportunity to spend some time and experience on this wonderful campus.

The professors are fantastic. They are usually very caring about both their subject and students. The donors have been fantastic and generous; however, I would not suggest people attend Alma College based on the administration.
The administration, in my opinion, tend to be very deceitful. While they appear very courteous and helpful at first, they tend to be less helpful and kind as one becomes more invested in the college. There are numerous hidden fees that they spring on you last minute, and they tend to be focused on recruitment and less so on current students.
A few tips for any future student: the Alma promise is mostly a facade, and while spring terms look amazing, they are very costly and you won't get quite as much out of them as Alma exaggerates.
Overall, there are plenty of great small colleges throughout Michigan, but I would be weary of attending this one.

I don't think Alma College is excellent because of one thing or a succession of things they did right on any one day in particular. I think it is an amazing university because they continuously work to create an atmosphere for their students that encourages them to put forth their best effort, ask questions about their own views, challenge the status quo, and take the reins as responsible adults in their communities. The things that I think set Alma above other schools are their passionate and intelligent faculty members, their liberal arts program which helps students develop their minds in a well-rounded yet disciplined fashion, and their programs, such as Honor's Day and the Venture Program, which reward students who participate in them with a greater understanding of academia and the world at large. I know that going here is certainly making a difference for me. During my 3.5 years here, I’ve made innumerable friends, joined several organizations, created a résumé, studied abroad, done academic research, and become a better person and student under the guidance of their perceptive, responsible, and caring staff members. I realize that many other students often say they are discontented at Alma due to problems they see with the administration, the cost of living, and the rigidity of the food system. I admit that I haven't yet encountered many of the problems they regularly complain about, although I can sympathize with their frustrations. Nonetheless, I think it’s interesting to note that many of these same students started off here as timid and closed people, but morphed into sharp-witted rebels capable of taking on any problem they encounter while at Alma College. I have yet to meet even one student who cannot name at least one thing that Alma did which benefitted them. I know my sentiments and observations are not universal, and it is precisely because they are not universal among the students at Alma College that I am led to believe that they have done a good job developing strong, individually-thinking minds. Hence, why I will feel proud calling myself a Scot for the rest of my life.

I cannot possibly say enough about my alma mater. I had so many amazing opportunities, including going overseas twice which allowed me to learn a lot about the world and myself. It was worth every penny.

We were at Alma yesterday for a campus tour and all of the staff, students and coaches that we came in contact with were fantastic! The campus is small and compact, and gives the "small town knows everybody" vibe. So many opportunities for the students, is certainly at the top of the list!

So far, I am super impressed with everything Alma. Yesterday was freshman move-in day. I have dropped our older kids off at college on many occasions, but Alma's was so well organized! No long lines of cars waiting to unload, no confusion as to where to go. You were directed where to park and students descended upon your car to carry off all the belongings to your room, often times with the aid of golf carts. Instead of the typical drop-off frustration and lesson in extreme patience, it was a happy and carefree experience! Well done, Alma!

Currently go here and let me tell you what - I've gone to a couple other colleges and Alma is AMAZING. I love the professors and everyone here is so nice. I've also had some issues with financial aid (my old accountant did my taxes wrong) and the financial aid office was so helpful with what I had to do next. (Shout out to Sarah!) Going to Alma was the best choice of my life!

The best educational experience, I ever had, in my life. Very small classes and study relationships with each of my professors. My Alma College degree, more then prepared me, for a very successful career. Even now, in retirement, I recommend the Alma College "experience" to all of the young people that I meet who are looking for a quality college education and experience.
