The strategic plan includes broad objectives supported by short- and longer-term initiatives and tactics to elevate our program and performance in each of these areas.

I have only POSITIVE things to say about Baldwin-Wallace. I have attended private schools, state schools, and community colleges (education is important to me, obviously!), and I can honestly say that I had the most wonderful experiences at Baldwin-Wallace, both academically and socially. I cannot comment enough on how intelligent the professors are, how perfectly challenging the curriculum was, how kind the students were, and I honestly just think BW has a great system overall. I am writing this review because I am currently at another school receiving another degree, and I should have gone to BW to do so. The college I am at now has been nothing but problems, and I am truly missing the organization and great reputation of BW. I plan on taking more classes at BW in the future.

Good: Tons of individual attention, conservatory is world class. Everyone is friendly for the most part. Also Cleveland is close, which has tons of stuff to do! I'm always amazed at how well received BW is in the business community. Also, the campus is really safe. I rarely worry about being mugged or locking my door. Bad: Greeklife is very small on campus, however, the Greeks here see all non Greeks as pee ons. Also since the campus is considered a historic district, certain dorms are not as nice. The rooms are big, but they get over heated in the winter.

This school is perfect for some. The Conservatory of music is a warm environment with lots of groups, but on the whole we are one group. Recently there have been a lot of plans to open up and "pop the con bubble". Time is always an issue, but progress is being made. For those looking for a nice conservatory without the pain of competition against grad students, B-W has potential. No grad students means that your professors are your professors, small class sizes, and attention to those just starting their undergraduate degrees. Most schools with big names have those reputations due to the graduate programs, don't let this fool you, B-W is a great undergraduate school to begin your future.
