My Alma Mater and a great place to go to school. You definitely have to work hard and there is a lot of self motivation if you can't find the right teachers but I was lucky enough to have some great professors here and really enjoyed my time. pro tip: classroom dynamic here is amazing as you have older people that can take classes for free and really add to the environment with their knowledge.

I finished my undergraduate degree at PSU and really liked being in the middle of things here. It is convenient and has a diverse student body. I know that some people have really low expectations for PSU, but I think that my classes and professors were generally of a high caliber. Plus the fact that is in the middle of the city and moderately priced allows older and non-traditional students to attend.

Located in the heart of downtown Portland, Portland State University boasts a wide open urban campus and promotes sustainability all around town, especially because it has so many LEED certified buildings. Students are welcome to all the facilities on campus, including the library, many computer labs, and even a new recreation center. PSU is always making it's buildings up to par and recently finished remodeling their music building and science building.

Great campus, amazing buildings, currently have 10 LEED certified buildings!! Check out the ASRC and all the awesomeness of Campus Recreation - they have a brand new facility and it rocks! If you're a student you already are paying tuition and fees to use it!

I am part of the University Honors Program and am constantly impressed with the professors and term paper assignments. I spent my freshman year studying intertextuality in literature within the larger spectrum of globalization. Already I have learned how to organize a graduate level paper and am already researching topics for my senior thesis. For anyone planning on going to grad school, this program is it.

Portland State University, is a school filled with diversity. It's a great school for it's location and it's programs it provides. You get to live in downtown Portland but still be able have the nature feel with the surrounding trees. It's a beautiful campus filled with modern and old buildings, with the park blocks being absolutely a wonderful place to study or be inspired. The professors are also great, they really do want to see you succeed in life, they give you options to succeed, it's up to you to take the challenge of succeeding though. If your a nature lover and believe in sustainability this is the right school for you, PSU focuses hard to be sustainable in everything they do. If you love being loud at athletic events, you'll be amazed by the student body's spirit.
