New Hope Christian College

New Hope Christian College, an institution of higher education, exists to disciple emerging Christian leaders by developing their theology, ministry skills, and character in order to win souls, plant fruitful churches, and lead as exemplary ambassadors for Christ in the ministry and marketplace.

Developing servant-leaders gather to learn, grow and lead. Students, faculty and staff live fully devoted to God and His Word. Healthy, biblical relationships are both honored and practiced daily. A resolute faith that’s culturally aware and eternally impacting is both taught and consistently lived. The presence of Jesus Christ is recognized and expressed appropriately, creatively and with great delight. We are community of growing servant-leaders called to be advocates of God’s eternal kingdom. We live to introduce Jesus and His ways throughout the globe through preaching, teaching, service, media, and any other strategic means through which the gospel can be shared. We focus on winning people to Christ and discipling them into those who will reach others for Christ through evangelism, leadership training and church planting. We are couriers of God’s mercy and justice where poverty and oppression exist. We recognize the Presence of Jesus Christ and express it appropriately, creatively, and with great delight. We train to influence our society in areas like technology, commerce, the Arts and education. We mobilize and encourage other Christians to partner with us in this lasting ministry. We seek to live in healthy community, living out our calling locally and globally.

A strong desire of New Hope Christian College is to prepare students for ministry. This preparation is accomplished by focusing on three areas of Core Competencies: Personal Formation, Ministry Formation, and Skill Formation. Student development is tracked, culminating in a comprehensive list, like a report card, that graduates walk away with.

New Hope Christian College is nationally accredited by the Association of Biblical Higher Education (ABHE), the oldest Bible college accreditation agency in the United States, specializing in the biblical ministry formation and professional leadership education. It is officially recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) and the U.S. Department of Education. It is also one of the eight regional associations that make up the International Council for Evangelical Theological Education (ICETE), representing North America.
