Beautiful, historic campus in the middle of Philly. Lots of great amenities and services. I come here for various events. Love stepping foot onto this campus.

I went to Penn as an undergrad, and I loved it. Now, I go back for the food. There are so many delicious food trucks on Spruce, and whenever I have the opportunity to be on campus during the week, I make a stop.

UPenn is like most places. If you friendly and engaging or if you are withdrawn or reserved then others will mirror your behavior back toward you. You will find the atmosphere is a direct reflection of your own demeanor. If you want others to pry you out of your shell then go to a Christian Liberal Arts College. Everyone here is brilliant and driven in some way or another so its pretty much a level playing field in regards to talent. Around final exam time its intense. Culturally its pretty diverse and WASPS might at first feel a bit disoriented, but that is true at most every top academic environment.

Having a degree from Penn helped me tremendously, both because of it's excellent reputation, and because I was hired twice by Alums.
Having gotten by with little work in H.S. and still getting great grades, I was surprised by how much more difficult college was. It took me about a year to really learn good study habits. The more you can prepare yourself for this the better.
A key goal in college should be to get to know your professors (or take seminars). Not only will it help you in class, but these are the people who will be writing your recommendations. Back when I was in college, they had "take your professor to lunch day," which I highly recommend doing. Also, get to know as many students as possible, as they will be your future colleages/co-workers after you graduate. I think it will be a lot easier to keep in touch, now that you have FaceBook, and can keep track of people you knew in college and what fields they are in. You'll be surprised by how many times in your life you switch careers, and it's always helpful to talk to people you know who are working in that area.

I'm from a suburb of Philadelphia and Philly was always home to me. I love Penn because it is a magnificent school and is so close. It combines its superior academics with a highly engaging social and extra-curricular life that other Ivies and similar schools often lack. I wouldn't want to go to any other school except Penn. Most people are quite well-rounded and you can have a conversation with a lot of people from diverse backgrounds about almost anything.

I had an amazing experience at UPenn. I believe that UPenn offered a strong nursing undergraduate education as well as a diverse social life. There were plenty of supportive resources in the school to help resolve personal problems and facilitate organizational goals.

Penn is an amazing school. It's all about the work hard, play hard mentality. Students are extremely bright and motivated but know how to make the most of their college experience as well. The school has a phenomenal athletics department and there are more resources for extracurricular activities to get involved with then you could possibly wrap your head around. The campus within a city allows for a smooth transition from teenager to adult as the four years of college go by. I wouldn't trade my 4 years at Penn for anything.

Penn was absolutely amazing! It's got it all, socially and academically. I learned political science computer simulation from the man who designed the program. I learned about Kurdistan from the man who helped write its Constitution. I met people like Ben Bernanke and Ralph Nader but also people like Henry Winkler. Through clubs, I traveled to China, California, Chicago, Harvard, Yale, and others. I made many new friends from all across the world. Penn has helped me grow so much. But Penn also helped me make a lot of connections with people that will come in handy later in life.
