Milwaukee School of Engineering has transformed my son's passion for technology into impressive skills, all thanks to its dedicated faculty and engaging curriculum in the heart of Wisconsin.

his is a serious school for those who are looking at their professional life, not a good time on campus. It is not a salt mine however, there is a lot to do if you want outside the classrooms and labs. Job placement is outstanding and the school has great relationships with excellent companies. Internships are available to almost everyone. Campus employment is available to anyone who wants to work. I love my internship and the classwork I have had here is immediately applied at my company.

Expect challenging course work and homework. MSOE is a serious school; if you want to drink and party all the time, this is not the place. All of the teachers will help you at any point as long as you ask them. MSOE will take you a long way in your engineering career as long as you work hard. Don't get behind because there is a heavy course load. Good luck!

MSOE has proven to me that regardless of the expense, it is well worth the time and effort. Businesses throughout the country are recognizing MSOE's students as hard workers that are capable of being leaders on projects not just followers. As a graduate, you have the capability to hit the ground running and not feel completely lost. You learn "real life" approaches at MSOE and through the Senior Design program for the engineering majors, you apply three years worth of knowledge to a REAL cause!

It is a great university, but you will work hard. The rewards are fantastic with a 98% placement rate and you will make lifelong friends.

The course work at MSOE helped a lot with the process of problem solving, critical thinking, and most of all with report writing and presentations. These are areas that I see many engineers lacking and it gives me a significant advantage and allows me to impress high level managers that see very little of my day to day work. MSOE built a strong "get the job done" mentality that is constantly reflected in the results of my work. Anyone that is motivated, willing to work extremely hard, wants a good challenge, and wants to be an elite in the industry should seriously consider going to MSOE.
