The Department of Computer Science aims at producing world-class Computer Engineers. A wide range of courses are offered to the students to help them understand the various intricacies involved in computing. The courses are designed in a way to invoke students’ ability to think originally and creatively. The department oVers excellent computing facilities in terms of hardware, software and networking.

Most of the courses have both theoretical h practical sessions which aid to the better understanding of the concepts. The faculty members are trained to produce Computer Science Engineers with the ability to design and develop systems involving the integration of software and hardware devices. The entire gamut of products and services that are being used today from airline reservation to online shopping to office automation systems to rocket launching are all created by Computer Science Engineers. Apart from this, they also focus on improving software reliability, 5etwork Security and Information Retrieval Systems.

We also have an academic alliance with Microsoft through which students are provided with the latest software tools in cutting edge technologies.

The department overs opportunities for students to enhance their professional skill through professional bodies like ACM, Linux User Group and Microsoft Tech Club. Participation in several programming competitions and hackathons has led our students to win prestigious prizes and cash awards.
