Video Production

This is an entry-level course that will serve as an introduction to basic video production. The goal of the course is for the student to develop the ability to capture great video images and audio, and to be able to edit those two elements together to tell a story.

• The techniques involved in capturing footage, and taking a deeper look at different types of video such as advertisements, documentaries and films.
• The importance of storytelling and how to portray your vision through video, including how to write screenplays.
• Advanced lighting techniques and how to capture sound effectively
• What equipment you will need and how to use it to achieve the best results.
• The art of piecing everything together in post production.
