Summary of ADEK Inspection

The overall performance of the school is acceptable. It has a number of strengths including, for example, students’ personal development. The lack of provision for UAE social studies is a breach of regulations and students’ learning in this important area is limited as a result. Students’ attitudes, behaviour and relationships with others demonstrate high levels of self-discipline, maturity and responsibility. Teachers know their students well and generally identify their learning needs accurately. Adults have very positive relationships with students and gain their respect and excellent response through applying consistently high expectations of behaviour. Teachers and students interact well in lessons and students contribute fully to meaningful dialogue. The principal and assistant principals demonstrate a strong clarity of purpose and commitment to inclusion. In a relatively short time, the senior leadership team has come to know the school well and to recognise its strengths. It has yet to take sufficient action to address important weaknesses in UAE social studies and to further improve student outcomes in Arabic and Islamic education.

Great school, great teachers and great experiences for kids. My son went here, and now my daughter is going. There are wonderful teachers in all walks of life who really care about children. I would recommend this school to anyone looking for the best school experience for their children.

We absolutely love this place. It has been a wonderful experience for our daughter. She's blossomed, made great friends and had a blast. The campus is great, the people are friendly and very trustworthy. Highly recommend it.

Great site – especially for parents. I have friends looking for an American school in Abu Dhabi for their kids and will refer them here. This nursery is probably the most experienced you could find in the region within the French focused curriculum. Their facilities may be a bit restrictive compared to others, but when it comes to academics I’d say they’re in the top 3 in Abu Dhabi.
