Chemical Engineering is undoubtedly one of the most versatile of engineering disciplines. Through a judicious mix of mandatory & elective courses, the students at Dubai campus gain expertise in various areas of chemical engineering such as petroleum and petrochemicals, renewable energy, environmental engineering, biochemical engineering, nanoscience & technology, paper, cement, ceramics & glass, polymers & plastics, food processing and products, paints and dyes, textiles and synthetic fibers, etc. Also, students are enabled to enter interdisciplinary areas like Atomic and Molecular Simulation, Surface Science, Corrosion Engineering, Combustion Engineering and Polymer Technology.
