Al Noor Training Centre for Persons with Disabilities won 5 awards which include Outstanding Awareness Campaign, Outstanding Management: Administration / Finance, Outstanding Management: Support Service Employee, Outstanding Speech Therapist and Outstanding Art Teacher / Therapist at the Princess Haya Awards for Special Education 2015. The awards ceremony took place on 23rd April 2015 at the Al Johara Ballroom, Madinat Jumeirah, Dubai UAE.

Al Noor Training Centre for Persons with Disabilities has received the ISO 9001: 2008 certification for “Educational, Rehabilitative and Therapy Services for Individuals with Special Needs through Assessments, Intervention and Training”.

This certification comes as a result of our commitment to achieve complete stakeholder satisfaction. We strive to continually improve all our work processes with the aim of providing services that fulfill the unique needs of our students with special needs. Ours is one of the first Centres in the Middle East and North Africa region that has been was certified for service provision to persons with disability.

Al Noor Training Centre has set up quality objectives which include structured and professionally-driven assessments and interventions. All members of the TDI (Trans Disciplinary Intervention) and TDA (Trans Disciplinary Assessment) teams are trained in specific techniques, delivering professionally-driven assessments, intervention and training to 100% of students enrolled at the Centre.

Al Noor Training Centre received the certificate of approval from Lloyds Register for Quality Assurance (LRQA), with the support of Paramount Computers. The Centre’s long-standing commitment to quality and steady growth played a big role in receiving ISO 9001:2008 which sets out the requirements of quality management systems with a standard based on a number of quality management principles including a strong customer focus, the motivation and the collaboration of top management, the process approach and continual improvement.

Al Noor Training Centre for Persons with Disabilities opened its doors in Dubai on November 21, 1981, starting with only eight children. The Centre serves children with special needs from different nationalities and can accommodate up to 300 children in the new facility. The purpose-built facility opened its doors in April 2007 and was officially inaugurated on November 04, 2007 by HRH Princess Haya Bint Al Hussein, Wife of His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the U.A.E. and Ruler of Dubai.

Al Noor Training Centre for Children with Special Needs offers admission to children with all disabilities from 3 to 18 years of age. An enquiry list is maintained which has personal details of the child including medical diagnosis. Parents may contact the Admissions Secretary to place their child’s name on the list. A separate enquiry list is maintained for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

The Centre has been generously donated by His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the U.A.E. and Ruler of Dubai and was made possible through the benefaction of HRH Princess Haya Bint Al Hussein.

The Centre runs under the auspices of the Ministry of Social Affairs. An appointed Board of Governors formulates the governing policies, which are then implemented by the Director of the Centre.
