Established in 1961, in a small villa with five students, the school became the reason why the business community could keep their children in Dubai under the loving care of complete family units.

In subsequent years the school continued to grow and its oldest campus, in Oud Metha, was built on land generously donated by the late H.H Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed al Maktoum. Today, we are proud to have three campuses and a total student strength of 11. 500 students and are undoubtedly the first choice for expatriate Indians looking for the highest quality education that is international in its outlook while enriching the Indian cultural roots. Managed by a philanthropic Board of Trustees on a certified not- for- profit basis, the governing board leaves no stone unturned in providing the best and updated digital and conventional educational resources, competent and committed educators catering to both academic and pastoral needs and a nurturing environment with contemporary. This vision was not only well sustained but rather strengthened in the times of COVID, with the Oud Metha Campus receiving the highest rating of “Developed” in the Distance Learning Evaluation conducted by the KHDA in June 2020.

I have been studying here for 8 years and it is the best school ever. Even if it is very strict about studies, it provides good cocurricular activities to release stress including sports.

If you are lucky enough to get your child admitted to the indian high school, consider yourself among the very fortunate as it is known as the best CBSE school not just in Dubai but the Middle East. As a graduate myself, i can attest to their high quality curriculum and emphasis on teacher retention. Some of the teachers that i had in the late 90s are still there to this date. I think that reinforces the community spirit that you rarely find at other schools.

The role of the teacher is to structure interaction to promote the growth of social skills such as facilitating, encouraging, active listening, summarizing and consensus formation. At Indian High School Dubai, teachers are the pinnacle of their success. I'm bought a graduate of IHS Dubai and now a parent of two kids that go to the school. As a non-profit institution, you can be sure of the highest quality of education with the most minimal tuition fee. Happy to recommend them to others!

IHS has been a great choice for our daughter. In fact, i believe there is no better CBSE school in Dubai than the very own Indian High School. Its extremely difficult to get in, but once you're admitted, the quality of education is unparalleled.
