ICAEW is a professional membership organisation, supporting over 138,000 chartered accountants around the world. Through our technical knowledge, skills and expertise, we provide insight and leadership to the global accountancy and finance profession.
The ICAEW Middle East regional office opened in 2009 and is based in DIFC, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Across the region ICAEW Middle East provides support to over 1,400 members and students, and works closely with governments, regulators, key stakeholders and other professional bodies.
Recent activities range from the launch of the ICAEW Emiratisation scholarship scheme to attract local Emiratis into the profession, successfully launching the Middle East Accountancy & Finance Excellence Awards to recognise finance professionals in the region, and supporting authorised training organisations and partners in learning delivering tuition in the region. Because of us, people can do business with confidence.
The ACA qualification is regarded globally as one of the leading business and finance qualifications and is recognised and valued in practice, industry, commerce and the public sector. 80% of FTSE 100 company boards include at least one ICAEW Chartered Accountant.
