The October 6 University is the first private university in the Arab Republic of Egypt. O6U is instituted by the Republican Decree number 243 1996. The university is a member of the Association of Arab Universities and the Association of African Universities. The University includes fourteen Faculties, University Hospital, and two hotels for male and female students. It has also established a center for quality assurance and accreditation having units in all the faculties, to enhance and disseminate quality culture. The University comprises a modern library.

As it is shown from the outside of the buildings it look quite a perfect place .
The building style is beautiful and clean , there is also a small garden and a big library near the university .
But as the students say it is just for investing money for owners
The professors treats the student as servants there is no such any kind for guidelines not enough resources to learn poor labs and ancient materials
The place also is like a crack house you can get drugs so easy there

I am Computer Science student in this university.
The area itself is good, buildings looks good too. But the opposite from inside, really bad lecture halls and classes.
Laps not equipped with tools or equipments and no WiFi access.
Lecturers are not professional.

I like this uni very much, the staff there aro so kind (comparing to other universities i visit) and the natural views are just fantastic, my only proplem is with the paper transactions.
