Radiant Montessori Nursery

A fun-filled place where learning is child’s play! Radiant Montessori Nursery promises a warm, caring atmosphere for you and your child. The Nursery I and II for infants and toddlers from three months to two years provides an environment and atmosphere that is appropriate and specific to meet the psychological, physical and cognitive needs of the child. The Montessori I, II classes are filled with purposeful activities in a prepared, stimulating environment that will engage your child in uninterrupted blocks of time, where he will be engrossed in captivating learning activities. This encourages your child to be independent and confident. It will foster self discipline and concentration. The Radiant Montessori Nursery operates on a half day option or full day option, five times a week.

The most precious years of your child’s life are the formative years from birth to six.This is the most sensitive period, expressing amazing powers for absorbing and learning from the environment. Dr. Maria Montessori called this unusual mental power the “absorbent mind” During this period there is great need for careful planning of work and an even greater desire to learn. The Montessori classroom provides the children the tools and equipment to discover, explore and develop their senses and learn for themselves during this period of intense receptivity. The Radiant Montessori Nursery strives to nurture, harness and cherish the growth and development of your precious children into confident, independent and caring young minds.

The Montessori environment contains specially designed, manipulative "materials for development" that invite children to engage in learning activities of their own individual choice. Under the guidance of a trained teacher, children in a Montessori classroom learn by making discoveries with the materials, cultivating concentration, motivation, self-discipline, and a love of learning.

Practical life enhances the development of task organization and cognitive order through care of self, care of the environment, exercises of grace and courtesy, and coordination of physical movement

The sensorial area enables the child to order, classify, and describe sensory impressions in relation to length, width, temperature, mass, color, pitch, etc.

Mathematics makes use of manipulative materials to enable the child to internalize concepts of number, symbol, sequence, operations, and memorization of basic facts.

Language arts includes oral language development, written expression, reading, the study of grammar, creative dramatics, and children's literature. Basic skills in writing and reading are developed through the use of sandpaper letters, alphabet cut-outs, and various presentations allowing children to link sounds and letter symbols effortlessly and to express their thoughts through writing.

Cultural activities expose the child to basics in geography, history, and life sciences. Music, art, and movement education are part of the integrated cultural curriculum.

The above remains open all week from Sunday to Thursday from September to June, (and for July and August for the summer session based on the demand and need).Structured Montessori / Nursery sessions are from 08.30 am to 12.30 pm and Day–care facilities from 07.00 am to 05.00 pm. The school will remain closed on all public holidays and for the New Year/ winter week. However should your ward be collected later than 02.00 pm an additional fee will be charged at the rate of Dhs. 50 for every 30 minutes or part of.

An initial, one-time only non-refundable payment of Dhs. 1000/- will be charged for admission and registration. Payment of fees should be made for all age groups in advance as specified in the attached fees schedule. All fees should be paid by 5th of the month at the latest, either in cash or by cheque. A late payment surcharge of 10% will be levied for each day after the 5th including weekends. All accounts must be settled before your ward continues. Fees must be paid for all months between September and June (both months inclusive), even if annual or short vacations are taken.

Children will be accompanied by a trained female nursery attendant in a safe and comfortable coach, observing all safety requirements as stipulated by the Department of Transportation Abu Dhabi.

Children must be dropped and picked from the nursery entrance only. No child should be left or picked if unattended by a staff member. Your ward will be picked only by persons authorised by you in writing and only after verification.

The Nursery / Montessori requires the assistance and cooperation of all parents to ensure and provide correct information and accurate instructions, in order to ensure the safety and comfort of all children!
