Jazan University

The establishment of Jazan University (JU) was one of the most remarkable academic events in 2006 in Jazan Province. JU rests by the Red Sea on the southwest coast of Saudi Arabia. The emergence of JU was a significant further step to provide the local communities in Jazan Province with unique educational opportunities with a modern touch, and up-to-date programs using the state-of the- art educational technologies. JU offers a number of highly demanded majors through many academic departments and centers.

Jazan University will be a gateway to the future for Jazan Province and the Kingdom, recognized nationally and internationally for academic excellence, competent graduates, high impact research, and service that deliver social and economic impact to the region and the world

The Vice Deputyship has been marked by working according to a clear, well defined plan, organized and aimed at greater achievements through the approaching years. The planning for progress and development started with the establishment of the Jazan University, according to the Royal Decree No.6616/M/B dated 12/5/1426 Hijri corresponding to 19/6/2005 Gregorian. Since that date, and the Vice President has ably planning and carrying out programs and pilot projects, their implementation and the untiring pursuit of excellence, in the exercise of its functions and roles, embodiment of the core values and pride in service to the homeland.
