Showcase was one of the first established galleries in the UAE in the 1990’s and has since established a venerable reputation with art collectors and designers alike. For the last 14 years it has been owned and run by Sharon Harvey; a Zimbabwean who moved to Dubai in 1987. The gallery has grown from strength to strength since she took over and relocated to the dynamic art district of Alserkal Avenue in Al Quoz.

Showcase is now one of the regions foremost contemporary art spaces, specialising in works from accomplished regional and African talent. The gallery provides a key platform to connect buyers, enthusiasts and established collectors alike. The gallery has always specialised in contemporary African art and Shona stone sculptures within it's portfolio and continues to stock and exhibit work from some of the most talented creatives the continent has to offer. We work side by side with artists and galleries in Sub-Saharan Africa giving them exposure to collectors in the Middle East.

Showcase has always been about creating a space that is accessible and non intimidating. You will always be warmly welcomed by knowledgeable art consultants and framing specialists. Upon visiting, you will have access to all the information necessary to both inspire and guide you through the history of the artworks exhibited.

Showcase's unique in-house framing service specialises in bespoke solutions from design to production using regular frame materials as well as museum quality products. With over 300 frame options to choose from, the team of frame designers are always on hand to assist and talk you through your framing needs. A turn-key art consultancy service from selection through to installation is also available.

We provide a bespoke framing service that offers tailor made framing solutions to individually suit all artworks. With over 500 frame mouldings to choose from, both museum and regular quality materials as well as a team of established framing consultants, your artworks are in safe hands.

We have worked with some of the best museums and galleries in the region - and our standards are exceptionally high. Some of the additional bespoke services we offer include, but are not limited to, designing and manufacturing unique custom made frames, acrylic boxes, wooden plinths to display sculptures, and bespoke mirrors.

Showcase offers a full range of art consultancy services, providing a professional consultancy and full project management for companies and individual requirements in all types of artwork and sculpture. We offer expert curatorial advice in site- specific commissions. We specialise in all aspects of installation arrangements, exhibition planning, art acquisition and collection management. We further co-ordinate all art handling and transportation. We offer our services to clients with projects of any size.
