Our classes are large with high ceilings. There are two large multipurpose halls in which students can play comfortably, a gymnasium, a computer science laboratory, a foreign language classroom, a music classroom, an art classroom, a problem solving classroom, a botanic laboratory and a circle time classroom where students can express their feelings more easily. Students perform their end-of-year shows on our theatre scene.

Spring has arrived; many flowers bloomed, trees are now full of green leaves and insects. Small animals are around our garden. It was really exciting exploring, together with our teachers, the beauty of our environment. We also studied the life cycle of some animals. We prepared a small model of Alsancak with lego and soft clay. We learned French vocabulary for directions and transportation.

The Universe still has many secrets … Planets, stars, asteroids and much more! Our Solar System is also composed of these, which we have tried to reproduce using the knowledge we have learned. We were very happy and excited for the end of the year show. For our special audience, we were actors, dancers and musicians!

The İzmir Opera House has fascinated us with its architecture. We were immersed in polyphonic music, into the colors and dance. It seemed to be in a fairy tale. We admired and analyzed the sea in different paintings. It’s interesting noticing how the artists’ talent, using different colors and techniques can create many interpretations of water. We also enjoyed producing our own works with different artistic techniques.
