Fajr Center for the Arabic Language was founded in Cairo in 1995, and affiliated to the Egyptian Ministry of Education with the sole purpose of teaching Classical Arabic to non-Arabic speakers. Our goals are to train non-Arabic speakers to become proficient in speaking, writing, and reading the Arabic language. Thus, enabling them to obtain entry into Arabic Universities, to teach Arabic as a second language, to obtain employment in translation services and to obtain employment in Arab countries. A beacon for teaching Arabic and related disciplines to the entire world.
In all of our branches, we maintain a high level of consistency in teaching methods, teaching materials as well as teachers’ qualifications and certificates. However, each branch offers its own set of advantages, due to their respective locations. For example, the Dokki and Ma'adi branches are close to downtown, giving accessibility to the embassy district, as well as business centers, hotels and restaurants. Moreover, the Dokki and Ma'adi branches--with their air-conditioned classrooms and modern furniture--offer a more luxurious environment.
Fajr Center has devoted rigorous efforts to provide the student with the best programs, which are designed to meet the student's needs in learning the Arabic language. In addition to our existing programs, we have also developed several new, specialized programs and curriculums, designed to meet the needs of our students in various areas of the Arabic language. Fajr Center is one of the Arabic Language Centers in Egypt with programs certified by the Egyptian Ministry of Education, under which Fajr Center is under constant supervision.
At Fajr Center, we believe that no program can be successful without well-trained, skilled teachers. Therefore, we exert the utmost efforts in providing the student with only the best teachers, specialized in teaching the Arabic Language to non-Native speakers. In order to ensure the student's success, the department has a special monitoring system that evaluates both student progress and teacher performance.
