Welcome to the Raffles Early Childhood family! We are excited to embark on this journey with you and your child. The experiences during the early years, from birth to age five, are vital for laying the groundwork for lifelong learning. Our EYFS curriculum has been developed by our team of educators, to ensure that learning through play and hands on learning underpins and supports all areas of learning and development. We also ensure that it reflects the needs of the children, our local culture and international best practices.

At Raffles ECC, we are delighted to welcome you and your family to our Early Childhood Centre, located in the heart of the Lakes community. Our centre is designed to provide a warm, nurturing, and stimulating environment where young learners can thrive.

With thoughtfully designed indoor and outdoor spaces, we encourage children to play, learn, and explore through a variety of engaging activities. Our experienced educators are passionate about early childhood development, fostering a love for learning through a curriculum that supports curiosity, creativity, and confidence.

Located at the heart of the Lakes Community, Raffles ECC - Lakes 1 offers a warm, enriching environment for children to begin their learning journey. Established in 2010, we provide a high-quality international early childhood experience, encouraging children to realize their full potential. Our philosophy fosters communication, empathy, and teamwork, preparing children for the future.

With over 30 years of experience, Cara Small, our Manager, is passionate about guiding children to explore their interests and creativity. “I believe that it is of paramount importance that we challenge young people to make meaning of their world, allowing them to communicate and understand others in different ways. It is an important tool for preparing children to live and work in a world that has become increasingly team-oriented, where the development of tolerance and empathy towards others is crucial.”

Our dedicated team builds strong relationships with children and parents, ensuring each child's needs are met. We offer a range of natural resources, such as water play, building blocks, and mud kitchens, to support literacy, numeracy, and well-being, while encouraging curiosity and creativity.
