Salmiya Indian Model School

Salmiya Indian Model School is the first Indian Model School in Kuwait meeting the very specific requirements of a Model School set by the Ministry of Private Education. The School is affiliated to Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi, India and is running classes from LKG to Grade XII and classes IX to XII IGCSE (Separate Block).

Salmiya Indian Model School is dedicated to the promotion of holistic education, human growth and development. This dedication is geared not only to children but also staff and parents. We believe that the growth and development of children is,after all, dependent upon the growth and development of those adults whose privilege and duty is to guide them.

In the sprawling campus in the heart of the city, the school boasts of the state of the art infrastructural facilities that include swimming pool, football ground, auditorium, indoor and outdoor play area for tiny tots. The Management believes in leadership and provides the faculty with an enabling and empowering atmosphere so that they can create independently acting and thinking global individuals who have big dreams for their community, country and the world. The institution aims at developing every pupil into an integrated personality, who is self-reliant, disciplined and sensitive to the society at large.

Our Educational policy

At SIMS we believe that each child is a unique individual who needs a secure, caring, and stimulating atmosphere in which to grow and mature emotionally, intellectually, physically, and socially, and develop his/her self-esteem and core values. It is our desire as educators to help students meet their fullest potential in these areas by providing an environment that is safe, supports risk-taking, and invites a sharing of ideas.
