Metropole is a community school, offering the National Curriculum of England. We believe that a child's innate curiosity is their greatest strength. We navigate their minds encouraging them to discover and explore the vast amount of knowledge that we can provide. We continually challenge our students to question, inquire and be problem solvers in order to develop the necessary skills required to become successful learner, confident individuals, responsible citizens and effective contributors to our world.
Located in Motor City, so convenient for Arabian Ranches, Dubai Sports City, Jumeirah Golf Estates and other newer developments between Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road and the Al Khail Road, GEMS Metropole is a schools that opened within a 5 minute drive of each other in September 2014. If success of a new school can be measured by the number of students joining in the first term, then the GEMS Marketing Machine can comfortably claim first prize.
GEMS Metropole accommodates around 107 nationalities in the school, it’s a diverse school exposing each and every student to a wide range of cultural experiences.
Metropole has an ELL department with specialized teachers offering English language support to students who are weak in English. When your child arrives they will have an assessment with the specialist and from there we will design a programme for them depending on their level of need. Some students will need withdrawal support out of class and some will need in-class support but this is dependent on the needs of the child. Once your child has started to make progress they are frequently evaluated and can progress in class with less targeted support. Metropole includes an inclusion centre / department for kids with additional needs, which may include anything from Dyslexia to autism etc. Some children might need a shadow teacher to assist him/her in the learning process.
Students will sometimes have a one to one session in the inclusion centre with their specialized teacher but this will depend on the needs of the child. The department works very closely with parents of children with additional needs and you are a key part of the process, including helping us to support your child to make progress in line with their targets on their individual plans.

Thank you once again for doing your part to keep Edarabia the most trusted education source.
I have three children enrolled in this school. This school offers a complete package ranging from providing top-notch education in a highly competitive environment to encouraging students to participate in not only extra curricular activities but also in community service. The teachers are easily approachable and respond quickly. I would highly recommend Gems Metropole School, Motorcity.

Gems Metropole has exceeded our expectations! We are extremely happy with the teachers, teaching modules & methods, activities and social activities are plenty. Few unique things that happen in school i.e involving family in school homework, having a petting zoo, having a happy meet with the school's Principal where we can spak to him directly. Definitely recommend it. My kids have prospered and are exceeding in their academics!

Needed to drop this word of appreciation to thank Lilian at the school reception for her friendly supportive and extremely helpful attitude. Always with a smile on her face, she will address your concern and go the extra mile to solve it. Amazing people …

I am a student in the school, and I really love how fun it is in this school. In primary it is really enjoyable, because of all the amazing events and trips coming up like the Korea trip, or the France & Spain (Paris & Madrid) I am looking real forward to it. The school is amazing and does the greatest things to encourage, help, and especially teach their students! :D
Go McLaren!!!

The best school for my son. He has improved a lot since he entered. The children are respectful, there is a system for everything, and most importantly, the environment is calm and the teachers are interested in how to bring out all the potential of your child.

Arabic and Islamic Department at Gems Metropole has done wonderful this year. The hard work has paid of. Especially I would like to mention Ms. Hala who has worked very hard with my child. She motivated my daughter a lot and supported her throughout the year. As a parent I'm very satisfied with the progress and support we have received from her. She is always available to answer my queries as a parent. Thank you for a wonderful academic year.

Gems Metropole is an excellent school, and we are delighted with our decision to enroll both our children here. The school offers a wide range of extracurricular activities, ensuring a balanced focus beyond academics. The Arabic department is highly dedicated, introducing numerous programs that have significantly enhanced the children's language skills. The performing arts department is equally impressive, nurturing and showcasing the best talents among the students. The teachers are exceptionally committed, consistently going the extra mile to meet the individual needs of each child.

I would like to thank Mr. David Carrol taught my son for only a short period end of last year, but his impact was truly remarkable. Not only he inspired my son, but they also left a lasting impression on almost every student. It’s a testament to Mr. David’s incredible teaching and warm, approachable nature that students continually come back just to say hi.
