Welcome to Happy Kids Academy Early Childhood Learning Center. Quality care can be achieved through a combination of staff education, experience, an enthusiastic attitude towards learning and a love of children.

The education of our children is especially important in today’s rapidly changing society. While most parents/guardians would like to be home with their children, enjoying each new discovery, it is often necessary for them to seek childcare outside home.

At Happy Kids Academy we believe each child is a unique individual. We strive to provide a loving, nurturing and creative environment for children. We are sensitive to the social, emotional, intellectual and physical needs of young children.

The primary goal of Happy Kids Academy Early Childhood Learning Center is to provide a high level of quality care for young children. Quality care is achieved through the combination of an attitude of respect for children and adults, caring and nurturing behaviors toward children, experience and staff education.

Our classrooms provide an environment that is clean, safe and child-friendly. Teachers provide centers for a variety of learning activities. Both large group and small group activities give the children experience in listening skills and individual instruction is made possible through smaller group sizes.

We have 24-hour surveillance cameras in all the classrooms, on the playgrounds, and parking lot. Happy Kids Academy has a comprehensive plan for caring for children during any possible emergency. In addition to our security entry system, requiring a passcode, we require all children to be signed in and out. Teachers are required to do attendance three times a day, and the office does head count several times a day as well. There is also an authorized pick-up list for each child in the office. A photo ID is the only acceptable form of identification for authorized pick-ups.

Children will not be released to anyone not on their pick-up list. Emergency drills are required by Delaware law and are executed monthly.
