Our story

Throughout the years we have nurtured the growth of many of the UAE’s children. Our results speak for themselves. Our specifically designed programmes realise the potential of each child with many effectively entering mainstream schools and achieving high academic success.

In 2001 our Director, Sheena Wilson (MSc Occupational Therapy), specialising in Sensory Integration therapy began developing programmes to support learning development in the UAE. She began by growing and training a team who shared her passion for her unique model of learning development, utilising a mulitdisplinary approach and evidence based therapies.

Our Services

When a child is referred to The Wilson Centre, parents have a consultation with Sheena or one of our Directors; during which a full developmental, medical and academic history of the child is gathered. They will receive an appropriate assessment plan for the child. The results, along with a recommended therapy plan will be given to the parent with a full explanation in a follow -up meeting.

All our therapies and assessments are offered both at our Centre, and on- site in schools and nurseries.
