Barnfield is a very special school, it is a place where we strive to ensure all our pupils and staff are the best they can be.We are incredibly passionate about our pupils reaching their potential, our staff are highly committed to teaching and providing ambitious learning opportunities to ensure this happens.
Our children are encouraged to ‘be the best they can be’ from an early age. Through our work with Compass for Life, we encourage our children to identify their ‘super north star’ and consider the milestones and steps they need to accomplish in order to achieve their goals, linking this very closely to their current learning. We want our pupils to appreciate their learning has a real purpose.

At Barnfield Primary, our intent is to provide a curriculum framework which offers exciting and meaningful learning opportunities. We want our pupils to be inspired and motivated, enabling them to be the best they possibly can.
Our holistic approach to learning is underpinned by our core values that aim to unlock every child’s intellectual, emotional, social, physical, artistic, creative and spiritual potential. We recognise the importance of developing these attributes in helping to ensure our young people flourish within a broad and balanced setting.
