Welcome to Dulverton Primary School Dulverton Primary School is a vibrant, happy and successful two form entry community school located in New Eltham. Although we are ‘tucked away’ in a quiet residential area, we benefit from and make the most of our spacious grounds.
Every member of our school community is valued and respected. We recognise that every child is unique and strive to ensure that their academic, creative, social, physical and moral education is nurtured. Our exciting curriculum has been designed to give our children opportunities to develop as independent, confident, resilient and aspirational learners. We have high expectations of the children and our high standards of behaviour and work reflect this. We celebrate both effort and achievement, and believe that these go hand in hand with enjoyment and mental health and wellbeing if a child is to make excellent progress.
Our aim is for our children to leave school at the end of Year 6 as ‘the very best versions of themselves’ that they can. We are working with the United Nations body UNICEF towards achieving our silver 'Rights Respecting School' award. This programme encourages our children to become mature and responsible adults who are outward-looking and ‘give back’ to the community. We feel that this is particularly important in these times of uncertainty and change so that they are prepared for their future and the increasing demands of today’s society.

The Department for Education has stated that there is a need 'to promote the fundamental British Values of democracy, the rule of law, individual liberty and mutual respect and tolerance of those with different faiths and beliefs.' These values are incorporated within Dulverton Primary School Values as well as taught specifically through PSHE and Religious Education. My daughter now in year 5 has had a lovely experience at this school. I would highly recommend this school to any parent. The teachers enforce the right amount of discipline, but also ensure the children feel loved and supported.
