At Brondesbury College, we offer a full and enriched curriculum, encompassing the traditional national curriculum subjects as well as select Islamic subjects. We also offer numerous after school clubs including Olympic style wrestling, journalism and debate.

As a regular part of the school calendar, we have various activities for all year groups including trips abroad, national competitions, educational trips, and excursions across London and the country.

Each student has something unique to offer and we are here to encourage and nurture their talent as well as equip them with skills for life. We are extremely proud of our family atmosphere and the excellent relationship we share with our supportive parents. With students who feel safe and secure, we are able to concentrate on their development as valuable individuals. In addition, by limiting our class sizes to a maximum of 25, we are able to give more attention to each student.

We see ourselves more as a facilitator rather than a traditional educator. We want our students to find their own voice and develop it, to learn to take greater responsibility for their own education and retain that excitement for learning and discovery even after they leave us and move on to higher education.

We provide regular and dedicated careers advice by inviting people from both traditional professions such as medicine and law, to the more creative and unusual. Our students go on to excellent sixth forms and colleges, and then pursue their education at some of the best British universities.

“Students enjoy the curriculum, are eager to learn and value the opportunities the school provides. They are helped to become well-rounded individuals who are knowledgeable about a wide range of issues…. Students have positive attitudes, attend well and enjoy school. Their behaviour is good and they are considerate and thoughtful. The provision for moral development is supported very effectively by the school’s behaviour policy, which helps students to make appropriate choices and distinguish between right and wrong….”

A school of moral and academic excellence, therefore, is our overall objective where the complete development of the student is paramount.

Motivated by a team of dedicated and professional staff, the education offered at Brondesbury College aims to produce mature young men with leadership qualities and the ability to contribute, as responsible citizens, to the well-being of our society.

The emphasis is on providing a healthy all-round education in a positive environment guided by the ethical and moral teachings of Islam.

The school is also proud of encouraging its students to engage in debate and critical thinking. The appreciation of other ways of life and other religions is vital to enable students from a very young age to appreciate difference and make friends from all walks of life. We do not believe in sheltering students from reality, but instead we encourage them to confront the issues of the day and try to think about things in a balanced way, from all sides.

We want our students to leave our school with Adab, which is respect for oneself and others, a respect for elders and a strong sense of empathy for those less fortunate.

As a school we are very aware that we have a unique opportunity to help shape young minds and this is why we give great attention to a student’s moral and socially responsible upbringing. Furthermore, as British citizens, we are proud that our society embraces cultures and difference, making it one of the best in the world, and one we aim to engage with and contribute positively to.

Finally, as a Muslim school we encourage our students to always be mindful of Allah and hope that they carry this awareness into their adult lives. We try to impress upon them the importance of establishing regular prayers and maintaining a sense of awareness of a reality that is greater than themselves. The purpose of this is to try and earn the pleasure of Allah by doing good deeds, being kind to others and caring for the needy.

We are committed to promoting achievement and to encourage all students to strive for excellence, developing their talents and abilities to the fullest. We believe that our role is to provide a wide range of challenging learning opportunities, which will enable each individual, including those with exceptional abilities, to realise their potential.

Gifted and Talented students within our school may be gifted high attaining students across the curriculum or talented in a specific area or areas.

“Cultural development is provided for well, and students’ awareness of ethnic diversity and different cultures is developed, with an emphasis on tolerance and harmony between cultural and religious traditions. The school has good links with those of other faiths and is part of the Three Faiths Forum….”

Our school calendar is packed with regular educational trips around London and the country. In addition, we organise residential trips abroad so that students have the opportunity to travel together and learn about the history and culture of other countries. To engage with other schools, our students also regularly take part in national competitions such as national debating competitions, sporting competitions and business enterprise challenges. The school works with various organisations, such as Mosaic and Three Faiths Forum, to introduce our students to people of other faiths and backgrounds and to work collectively on a range of activities.

A wonderful school tailormade to make our sons into caring, sensitive, responsible, tolerant and kind men. With high grades to boot. Couldn't ask for more. Can only assume the 1 star reviews are from people that have an axe to grind as opposed to any real evidence.

Amazing school MashaAllah! The teachers actually care about your children's education and their moral and Islamic upbringing. Two of my sons went to this school and left with unremarkable GCSE results, MashaAllah! ??????????
