Pickhurst Academy is a wonderful school The teaching and support staff here at Pickhurst are truly outstanding: their passion for learning and their drive to always ensure their pupils achieve their best is inspirational.In September 2011, Pickhurst was awarded ‘outstanding’ status by OFSTED, and since then we have been designated a National Lead Support School and have been independently reviewed annually by an OFSTED inspector and accredited ‘outstanding’ status under the new OFSTED framework each year.
