We believe that God is at the centre of everything that happens in our school. We are a Catholic school of just over 200 children located in St Mary Cray near Orpington on the outskirts of London.
We pride ourselves on being a happy, caring and welcoming community, where the learning environment and the wide range of opportunities offered, help every child reach their full potential and make the most of the gifts and talents given to them by God.
Our dedicated and committed team of staff and governors work closely together to make sure that the children in our care are a respected part of our Christian community, one where they feel valued and secure.
We hope you enjoy browsing through some examples of our work, play and achievements and if you would like any further information please do not hesitate to contact the school office.
At St Philomena's we share the love of God every day, in everything we learn, do and say.
St Philomena’s is a warm and welcoming school, following the teachings of Jesus in all we do.We :
- work together with children, families and parish to promote Catholic values,
- inspire and challenge our children to fulfil their potential through enriched learning opportunities,
- foster self-esteem and pride by celebrating the achievements of our children,
- instil a lifelong love of learning,
- empower children to participate fully in society and embrace their personal responsibility to care for our world.
