Our Lady's is a truly wonderful school with bright, caring and aspirational students who are taught by a dedicated and talented team of teachers. Our Lady’s Catholic High School is an inclusive Catholic school. It was established in Amhurst Park in 1904 by the Servite Sisters in order to provide education to young women in Hackney. This is a heritage that we are proud to continue. The Servite values of our founders underpin the work of the school to this day. We have a strong commitment to nurturing each child, as well as promoting excellent academic outcomes. Our standards are high and maintained through excellent teaching, positive relationships and a culture of high aspiration. Our school allows us to know each unique child personally, and this allows us to truly pursue excellence.

We know how fortunate we are to have such strong, compassionate, committed and talented staff. The partnership that exists between school and home, with a foundation in shared faith, makes this a very special place to flourish. Our teachers enjoy their work, are passionate about teaching and learning, and are ambitious for our students. I know that with the support of parents and families, partnered with the school’s culture of service, compassion and aspiration, we will provide the very best environment for your child to grow and mature both intellectually and emotionally; together we are ‘Shaping Tomorrow, Inspired by Faith’. We invite you to visit and experience the energy and vibrancy of the school and witness our values in action.

Our Lady's School is a small Catholic school with a warm and welcoming personality and a reputation for superb pastoral care and excellent progress. The community of staff at Our Lady's show great care and dedication towards the students. Founded by the Servite Sisters in 1904, Our Lady’s is steeped in history and tradition.

Our school was founded by the Servite Sisters in 1904 to provide education for the young girls of Hackney. We continue to be inspired and influenced by the work of the Servite Sisters and our eight Servite Values help us live these values in our thoughts and actions. Our most important Servite Value is our Marian Identity and as servants of Mary, we look to Mary, mother in faith, sister in discipleship, sign of the Church, and see ourselves as servants who come not to be served but to serve. Links with the Sisters of the Servite Order are still very strong, and Servite values continue to inform many of the school’s processes and priorities. A Servite Sister serves as one of our the school’s Chaplains. There are also international links with Servite schools and students in countries such as Bolivia, South Africa, France and Italy.

Our Lady’s is a vibrant school, which recognises the importance and individual needs of every pupil and member of staff. Praise and encouragement are vital in creating a climate of learning and high expectations, supported by teaching of the highest quality. The school is full of confident, creative and fulfilled young people and staff. They are all celebrated as individuals - unique creations of God- who deserve our support, love and trust as they begin the great journey of life.

Excellent school! The outstanding results produce by GCSE and A levels students shows how well the school is organised, teachers are very supportive and committed to see their students aim high. I wished I could send my son but he is a boy and not a girl. Keep it up!!!!!
