Welcome to Christ Church. We are a one form entry Church school that believes in putting the pupil first by tailoring their education to each individual. We are fortunate to be one of the few inner city schools that has not only a large playground and playing field, but also a dedicated wooded Forest Schools area which is integral to our approach to learning.

At Christ Church, we believe that children are better able to reach their full potential when we work in effective partnership with parents and carers. To that end, we actively encourage family engagement in school life.

Small is beautiful so they say. Here at Christ Church small isn’t just beautiful, it’s one of our most attractive features. With only one class in every year group our teachers will get to know you and your child very well in a nurturing, friendly and successful environment.

At Christ Church we don’t believe that learning takes place solely in the classroom. We believe that the outdoor environment has a huge potential for learning. We are incredibly lucky, therefore, to have a large amount of natural outdoor space and this unique feature has inspired us to develop an outstanding outdoor learning curriculum. Combined with our dedication to the creative arts and music, Christ Church offers a personalised and holistic learning environment.

Our core purpose is to inspire life-long, confident learners and to prepare all our children for a successful future. We are totally dedicated to providing an enjoyable and stimulating educational experience for our children. Indeed, in 2018 our school SATs test results were above the national average in all areas at age 7 and 11. This is a marvelous achievement!
