We believe kindness and understanding to be at the very heart of our ethos, bringing together a proudly diverse and inclusive community
We believe kindness and understanding to be at the very heart of our ethos, bringing together a proudly diverse and inclusive community. We believe that there is no place quite like Woodberry Down. With our minds set on creating innovative and passionate learners, we believe that all of our children should experience enriching and rewarding experiences to support their understanding of the world around them. Our wide and informative curriculum supports our pupils to develop curiosity and imagination.
We are fully committed to a shared responsibility to the wider school community, through the provision of high-quality education and the improvement of life chances for pupils in the community beyond that of our own school. We believe strongly in collaboration and work in close partnership with the community and families at the school. We know and value each of our children as individuals and are eager to prepare them for the next steps in their education and the challenges and joy they will face in life. Every child who attends our school experiences great achievement with staff encouraging them to always aim high.
Alongside Grazebrook, Shacklewell and Thomas Fairchild primary schools, we are well supported by a strong and experienced governing board who challenge leaders and staff to do all that they can for the pupils and the community.
Our Vision
At the heart of New Wave Federation is the desire to see all children excel. Every child, regardless of their background, has the right to the best educational provision and support to achieve and succeed.
New Wave Federation is determined to overcome barriers of discrimination and disadvantage where they impact on success and life chances. We want all our children to be successful, strive for the highest standards, and to recognise the importance of kindness and respect for others.
We want to help children shine in our schools, to be great learners, and to have a positive attitude towards school life. We will endeavour to reflect the schools diversity and build recognition of differences in the spirit of tolerance and cooperation.
In our vision, we commit to promoting equality, freedom and fairness, whilst challenging any social, sexual or racial discrimination with a zero-tolerance approach.

Thank you once again for doing your part to keep Edarabia the most trusted education source.
The school is quite isolated from the road and it is quite fascinating that the building is listed and registered under the Conservation Area although it is not everyone taste. As an Architect, worked for education sector before, I fully recommended this school to every parents. Their education learning system is a high quality in fact their performance shows higher level than any other schools.
