At the heart of Streatham’s community for over two hundred years, St Leonard’s Church of England Primary school is an expanding school which aims to nurture and inspire all its children in order to prepare them for an exciting and successful future in an ever changing world. We opened our Nursery and took our first two form entry of Reception aged children in September 2016.

Through innovative teaching and working together, we foster independence, respect for one another and a love of learning. We have very high expectations of our staff, pupils and parents so that each child has the best chance to achieve within a mutually supportive community.

Recognising our historic foundation, we will preserve and develop our religious character in accordance with the principles of the Church of England and in partnership with our Parish Church and the Diocese of Southwark.

We will aim to serve our community by providing education of the highest quality within the context of Christian belief and practice. We will encourage and nurture an understanding of the Gospel, promoting the Christian values of Faith, Hope and Love to all our pupils and their families.
