Berrymede Infant School

We are a friendly and inclusive 3 form entry school located in Ealing, West London. In September 2016 we were graded as ‘Good’ by OFSTED. We continue to build on the strengths they identified such as the quality of teaching which is ‘consistent and effective’ and pupil’s behaviour and attitude which is ‘a real strength’.

We recognise that pupils learning, health and well-being is a team effort and ask parents /carers to work with us to achieve our aims. We want our school community to feel valued and respected and believe that by working together all our children can achieve more.

We are a welcoming and friendly multi-cultural school that puts the children at the centre of all we do. We are a learning community that recognises and respects all groups and together we aim to achieve the highest possible standards in teaching, learning and behaviour.

We aim to create a secure, happy and purposeful learning environment in which all pupils are valued, respected and encouraged to succeed and reach their full potential. We provide a broad and balanced curriculum, appropriate resources, and a good level of adult support through which pupils learn to become confident, independent and reflective learners.

We warmly welcome all parents of children born between 1st September 2013 and 31st August 2014 to visit us. We will show you around the school and introduce you to the Early Years Team.

On Friday the 23rd Ms Atkins co-ordinated a whole school sports event to help raise money for Sports Relief. Children all came into school wearing sports clothes and spent the day learning about Sports Relief and the charities it helps. Children and teachers (Including Mrs Ohene!) went outside and spent 15 minutes doing a set of High Intensity Interval Training activities including squats, star jumps, lunges and side steps! The children demonstrated just how fit they all are and they all had great fun and thoroughly enjoyed it!
